What is a bridge loan for business?

A bridge loan for business is short-term financing that covers a gap: between today's expense and tomorrow's incoming money, such as an SBA loan still in underwriting, a property sale closing next quarter, or a big invoice that pays in 60 days. The gap itself is the cost: deals expire, vendors won't wait, and opportunities don't pause for slow money. Quordx Capital matches owners who need fast interim capital with short-term lenders from a 50+ lender network, some of which can fund in as little as 1-3 business days.

How bridge financing works

A bridge loan is defined by purpose, not by a single product. You borrow against a known future event, permanent financing, a receivable, a sale, and repay when that money lands or on a short schedule (typically months, not years). The classic example: an SBA loan will fund your expansion in 60 days, but the equipment seller needs payment now, a short-term loan bridges those 60 days, then the SBA proceeds or normal cash flow retire it. Underwriting is light and fast: recent bank statements and proof of revenue usually carry the decision, with answers in 24-48 hours.

Products that work as a bridge

Working capital loan: $5K-$500K, short-term, built for operational gaps. Best for a defined expense with a clear repayment event on the horizon.

Business line of credit: $10K-$250K+, revolving, interest only on what you draw. Best if gaps recur: draw when the gap opens, repay when cash arrives, keep the line for next time.

A/R financing / invoice factoring: Advances typically 70-90% of invoice value. Best when the "future money" is a specific unpaid invoice from a creditworthy customer.

Merchant cash advance: $5K-$500K against future revenue, factor rates typically 1.15-1.50. A tool for true emergencies, never the default.

How Quordx Capital Works

Submit one application, it takes roughly 5 minutes, with recent bank statements attached. The matching process engine reads your revenue pattern and timeline, then puts your file in front of 3-7 lenders (from 50+) ranked by approval likelihood, prioritizing speed when your situation demands it. Most decisions return inside 24-48 hours; bridge-type products often fund in 1-3 business days.

What to Expect

Expect honesty about cost. Bridge money is priced for speed, and Quordx Capital discloses every fee and the total repayment before you sign anything, if the bridge costs more than the opportunity is worth, we'll say so. Applying is free, there are no broker fees, and requesting offers doesn't obligate you to take one.
