Business Loan With a Chargeback History
If you are searching this, you already know your chargeback numbers are a problem, probably because a processor told you so. Ecommerce brands, subscription businesses, travel operators, and ticketing merchants all land here eventually, and the fear underneath the search is reasonable: you assume a lender pulls your processing history, sees the disputes, and declines. Here is the part most owners do not know. The lenders most likely to fund you are not reading your chargeback ratio in isolation. They are reading your bank statements, specifically whether net deposits stay consistent month over month. A business with a dispute rate that alarms its processor can still show stable, predictable deposits, and to a revenue-based underwriter that is the number that matters.

How Lenders Actually Read a Chargeback History
Your processor and your funder manage two different risks. The processor carries liability every time a customer disputes a transaction, so it watches dispute ratios closely and reacts by raising reserves, adding fees, or closing the account. That is a payments problem.
A funder's risk is different: will the deposits continue long enough to repay the advance. So the underwriter opens your statements and looks at net deposit volume after refunds and disputes are already subtracted, month-to-month variance in that number, negative balance days and NSF activity, and whether other funders are already taking daily debits.
This is why a chargeback history is a factor rather than a disqualifier. A merchant with elevated disputes but $80,000 in steady monthly net deposits, no negative days, and no stacked advances frequently gets approved. A merchant with clean dispute numbers, erratic deposits, and six overdrafts often does not.
Where chargebacks do hurt: disputes trending sharply upward, a reserve withholding a large share of your settlements, or a termination notice from your processor. Each one changes the deposit picture, which is what the underwriter is pricing.
Which Products Fit a High-Dispute Merchant
Merchant Cash Advance: the most accessible option here, because underwriting is built on deposit consistency rather than credit or processing history. Funds in as little as one business day, $5,000 to $500,000. Cost is the trade-off, so size it against a specific return, not general comfort.
Short-Term Working Capital Loan: available to merchants with a stronger overall profile. Fixed payback, cheaper than an advance, funding typically 1–3 business days.
Invoice Factoring: relevant if any part of your revenue is B2B and invoiced. The factor advances part of each invoice's value up front and pays the rest, minus its fee, when your customer pays, underwritten on your customer's credit rather than yours.
Business Line of Credit: harder to land with an active dispute problem, but worth pursuing once ratios stabilize, since it is the cheapest ongoing capital tool of the group.

How Quordx Works
Apply online in about 10 minutes. Upload 3–6 months of business bank statements, your most recent tax return, and your ID. Quordx reads the full picture, including the parts you are worried about, and routes your file to the 3–7 lenders in a 50+ network with real appetite for your profile. Decisions typically return within 24–48 hours. Quordx never charges borrowers a fee.
What to Expect
Disclose the chargeback situation up front. Underwriters find it anyway once statements are reviewed, and a file that volunteers the context reads far better than one that looks like it hid something. If you have taken corrective steps, faster dispute response, clearer billing descriptors, a tightened refund policy, say so.
Expect the offer to price the risk. Higher factor rates, shorter terms, or a smaller first advance with the option to renew are all common. That is not a rejection, it is a lender starting small and building.
And expect a straight answer. If your file is not fundable right now, you will hear that along with what specifically needs to change, rather than getting shopped to lenders who were always going to decline.
